Paint any frame Celeste and you have a winner.

To a more serious matter: Any proper pics of that TdU podium hostess this year?

I quite like the look of the spec crank with campagnolo chainrings on the Astana bikes. Imho it looks much better than the cranksets with more voluminous spiders.

I'll refrain from a choice because the photography wasn't balanced. While I appreciate CyclingTips putting together that post on their blogsite, I'll wait for RIDE magazine's photo-studio shoot of the pro peloton bikes.

The CT link had a bunch of bikes that were photographed backlit by the sun or heavily shadowed. Meanwhile some were properly oriented for lighting (such as Astana). This does not really help in judging a paint scheme if the highlights are covered in a shadow or if it is backlit.

My 2 cents on it.

Interesting that (if I counted correctly) 13 out of the 16 bikes are using Electronic shifting.

BMC did it better IMHO, there's no cable dangling in the wind.

Nice sprint to finish it off. Perfect leadout from a couple of shacks.

Agree, with that finish at TDU I'd expect he has an eye on Milan San Remo

Saxo-Tinkoff seems to have switched from Speedpay to Look.

And as a result Contador gets dropped on the first serious hill.

Contador was on Look before Speedplay.

Won a Tour on Look too.

He'll be fine.

I'm searching for a good shot of Goss's TDU bike. It's not team colours/blacked out. Possibly something new (probably not though).

7-7 in the pedal battle: it seems like Look (counting the Garmin Exustars sans power among them because they use the same cleat system) is slightly coming back.
No Time except some personal choiches (Cunego?) and probably few others.
