Was windy as hell! But, not 'as bad' as I thought it would be.

Times are up as it's a different course  plus we didn't have to fight cars, as after Jack got knocked off last year they closed the roads. Which was very, very much appreciated.

We rag on about Cycling Australia a bit, but in this case  closed roads was excellent.

Funny thing is the Wiliers are also all Taiwanese and quite possibly come out of Merida's plant!

:beerchug:

I'm just a lowly rider, but once every so often I get to rub shoulders with the fast guys. One of the great things about out sport.

I'll be doing the road race on Sunday, hopefully I last a little longer this year  but no way I'll make the end.

Today, at the New Zealand Nationals, no booties were allowed as per the new UCI rules say they must be used in case of bad weather only, not for aerodynamic purposes.

Funny they were anal about that and not level seats and all the other little things the UCI takes issue with.

Guess it comes down to who is the chief comm on the day.

I wondered about that seeing the pictures. Villumsen was wearing them though I think?

Seems ridiculous (though hardly surprising).

If you have any specific things you would like to see photographed measured or asked in regard to team bikes... we will be at TDU shooting all the team bikes in our studio for four days next week. Make a request and I will see that I can get it done!

When you measure, give the saddle height to the center of the seat, not up the seat tube. Reach, saddle to bar drop and frame size per rider. Bought it.
