Ricco has a rides a very short stem compared to most pros. Also not slammed but the Cipo frames have pretty short headtubes.

Stem, schmem. With Ricco it's not about the bike, it's all about the PEDs.

Not exactly TT specialists, but that's sort of what Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter-Phinney did to create Taylor Phinney. On the other hand, there's also a phenomenon known as regression to the mean.

Ricco is a bit of pariah. Here, there, everywhere.
Better the scum not be mentioned on this thread.

RIDE had a quick chat with Matthew Lloyd about his new Lampre-Merida team bike...

If you have any specific things you would like to see photographed measured or asked in regard to team bikes... we will be at TDU shooting all the team bikes in our studio for four days next week. Make a request and I will see that I can get it done!

I'd still be riding my Wilier too. What a downgrade (in style, if nothing else).

Great result against a really strong field!

The times look fast compared to previous years - Durbridge was 3 minutes quicker this year compared to last, and 4 minutes quicker than Meyer's time in 2012.

What were the conditions like? (in 2012 the roads were wet and it was windy as all hell, in 2011 was raining pretty heavily, but the wind wasn't too bad)
