But but but guys look at stybie's tape.
Pro bar tape discussion thread, yea yea I know rider preference . Nys and stybar battle was sooo good!
Edit, he was using a vintage bike! 10speed and force old steel FD. I like this guy! Dude does like 4 races a year, last minute decision to show up to worlds and wins!

There goes that Voodoo stuff again, i'm telling you, something is going on...
Clearly Wiggo will have to pay off froome's mechanic to tape his bars Nys style, that way he will go mad from staring at his stem and seeing the tape uneven and will lose every race, therefore assuring wiggo first preference for the tour.

So what's the dirty on the sealed Gore cable system now? This what I found but it makes it seem like SRAM would only have it for a bit longer too?

stybar probably dusted that bike off some back corner of the specialized warehouse the same moment he decided last minute to race. So the gore cables, 10speed sram, cantis, all were old tech way back from like 2013.

It's fairly common across gruppos that pros use lower tier steel FDs over whatever Ti/Carbon fu the respective top of the line version has.

yea they look sweet
I can't look at stbys bike now, but I'm pretty sure he has the steel red FD. The whole force thing was really only going on for a year or so before sram offered a steel red version.
Regarding the sealed cables, from what I know, sram still has them made for them by gore. Last I checked they were readily available here in the US under the sram professional moniker. We have jagwire sealed kits available now which should prove a worthy replacement, but only time will tell.
