Jurgen Van Den Broeck is out of the Tour due to knee injury. That must be a disappointment for him.

While I find admirable the heroic feats of cyclists that ride on after crash and injury, a line have to be drawn.

How is possible that a rider is asked to, or let ride with a disabling injury like a broken pelvis or shoulder blade ?

that is simply not right, and spraying him an anesthetic while riding WTF ?

But not for us watching at home as you'd never even know the guy is in the race until you see the results sheet. I joke I joke

Regarding Ted King's exclusion I bet some of you have had a separated shoulder before. I rode after 1 week when I got a complete separated shoulder once. But it took me 3 months until I was able to put any weight on that arm. So abolutely NO riding out of the saddle! It would be insane to even consider riding the tour under those conditions. Its hard enough as it is!

What's worse getting kicked out of the Tour or giving up? Maybe they did it on purpuse. Man has left with his honour intact.

No suggestion or innuendo. Just seems to be an attempt at non-conformity.

Yeah what about it? Baring crashing/injury they should both be able to break into top 10 I would guess.

Yes, once the chaff is separated by the mountains they should be able to rise to the top.

Anyone remember that brand from Swiss that used to do those skinsuits for the pro teams?
I remember they would last just 2-3 rides.
