edit- deleted for fear of libel claims, let's just say I don't like the people that RCS opens itself up to, including some of it's sponsors....

It seems that RCS "excused" themself by saying Yellowmeow is part of MPCC.

Seriously though: that kit looks like a shop's kit (not the racing team sponsored by the shop, but a kit that any ol' bloke would buy when they forgot to bring one with them on vacation, or they're just starting off riding, or they get for free with a purchase of a new Trek.)

I'd love to see IAM and MTN-Qhubeka at the TdF or the Vuelta.
The Giro exclusion is disappointing.

I rather like it. The pins are becoming and it looks better in real life.

The latter not dissimilar to why you like the AG2R kit Prend ;)

I like the all-white Bontrager shoes in the middle!

I read an article somewhere talking about the fitting session the team were doing in December. It mentioned that a few of the marquee names on the team showed up with a new, unreleased shoe. It's not a prototype, but a new model about to be released. I don't have any other info but I'll try to find the article.

 :beerchug:

But pins aren't in. They were coming around a few years ago, but only on a specific niche (business attire).

They could have done something better with it. Maybe break up the blocking (see Garmin kit, rear) or add some white blocking. The choice for inset sleeves itself is questionable (does anyone prefer inset over raglan cut? Honestly?), but to use the sleeves on their own as the only paneling contrast, without any pull into the main body, has had a dissapointing result. Then they decide to use that same weak sleeve-as-paneling basis for the national jerseys?? Come on.

I'm sure the pinstripes show up well in person, as you saw first hand Nick (aside: totally in awe of your riding level, sir!), but that's just part of the story.

:)

Anyway, just my opinion. One person. :)

I saw Frank Schleck in one picture wearing them too.

I thought I saw pix of FS at the TDU back stage where it looked like he was wearing some of the all white, pro only S-Works. I could have been wrong, but I thought I saw 2 dials and one Velcro strap.

CONI bans Ballan for 2 years.

The Italian wheels of justice moving at breakneck speed.... CONI was about 10x faster banning Valverde before they have ever done anything with evidence w/in their own country.
