I guess that I should have clarified that it will be more of the San remo type with pockets and the ability to unxip the front. I also have raced in skinsuits for a while, but only in shorter events, i.e. crits. Never in road races. That will change this season.

Can't be too bad going from Di2 for however many years, back to mechanical and to a different shifting style at that. And he beat Sagan

:-) See the chain? Looks like SRAM made it just to the finish line....then, just collapsed :-) :-) They are wellknown for chain suck, arent they, Andy?

Strange, so many spacers under -17grade stem
Why not use a -7grade with no spacers?

CyclingNews.com:
"SRAM teams have pared down from six last year to three in 2013, including Astana who is now on Campagnolo. European road sponsorship manager Jason Phillips says SRAM wanted to go narrower and deeper with its teams this year".

Bla Bla Bla...

I would say, nobody wants to run obsolete 10sp groupset

It's the Castelli Sanremo speedsuit design, I have one and I love one ;)

3T stems come in -17 and -6, up to 14 cm. Over 14 cm, the 6 degree stem would rise 2.7 cm. So it takes a lot of spacers to make that swap.

The "S" like shape (2nd picture) seems to me like a smart idea. The chain catcher is closer to the chainrings....which could help from problems.

"Garmin-Cervélo is like other teams that don't yet have sufficient stock of 11-speed Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 to justify switching over. However, an apparent shortage of 10-speed Dura-Ace parts has the team now using Ultegra Di2 instead for the time being."
