Although the picture isn't at the best angle, the scott fit looks pretty good. I would agree that the fit on the Lemond is too long, his shoulders and arms look pushed pretty far forward especially if you look at his upper arm/bicep and tricep region.
Looks like I made a new 90 Proof friend

In the first picture on the Lemond bike Horner is in TT mode on a flat road. His hands are holding the shimano cables and his forearms are on the bars.
On the Scott he is climbing. His hands are on the hoods. He is leaning forward likely to gain leverage as he gets into the turn.
His position is perfect in both cases.

I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree
Watch the movie Pro. Unfortunately Google image does not have screen caps.
When he did a Retul fit with RS the moved him to smaller frame with taller HT, bars higher and in, and saddle much more forward.

speaking about the Vuelta: it's sad to see, but Tyler Farrar has lost his sprinting legs

Farrar got a top 5! Against a bunch of mostly non-sprinters....

Farrar's next contract will be as a role player in EU or domestic.

Man the contrast is hilarious between the OGE and Saxo 'backstage' youtube videos.
I bet Farrar goes back down to the continental level either in the US or with some second level Euro team.
Looks like he lost a lot of weight and even more of his strength.

To fill the hole that was created when Lelangue was send walking at BMC, Valerio Piva is coming over from Katusha.

Venge, shoecovers, 808s over 175 could theoretically make the difference no?
Well, I think the cat and mouse has a little bit more to do with it than that, but sure couldn't have hurt!
I actually thought he had it with 500m to go. Some serious TT king envy going on there. Had Canc sat in, at least he would've had a chance at winning the stage instead of just ruining Tony's day. Argos didn't have the firepower. Bet there will be some harsh words said in private...
