From their 2011 annual report:
"Cofidis Spain sponsors the Junior Vuelta,
an original programme as part of the
Vuelta cycling race bringing together
education and cycling."

So I'd say Cofidis is not picked instead of IAM, it is just picked.

Meh, I have a hard time getting excited about another sugar daddy team.

In other news, I predict Bentacur is going to be a royal PITA in the Giro...in a good way!

Seeing Evans's bike next to the Shimano Neutral Service car brings back some bad memories (09 Vuelta was it?). I'm surprised he can still get near one of those blue cars without cursing!

So the Giro is on, but the question is, in which stage will Vande Velde brake a bone. Not that I wish him that, but it seams that in every Giro that he takes part he brake something...

Happy for Cavendish winning stage 1 close to my home town.

Rode Seeland Classic near Bern today. Fabu and Kohler rode it too. Was 2 wheels back when the rubber and snapped on the climb. Guess I got the Sagan Flanders view :-D

Anyone know what Specialized Saddle that is on Cav's bike? It looks kind of like a Toupe but quite thick?

Bouhani did some serious headbutting there.

New BMC, it looks completely similar to the previous model year no? Might be lighter, but doubt it.

SRAM seems to derail Cav train again though....

"Steegmans had a problem with his gears and so I had to close a ten-metre gap with just 500m to go. I had to go in the red to win the sprint."

Nothing new for sprinters though? Haven't all sprinters been head-butting at some point?
At least he didn't intentionally take people out like Cav did in the Tour de Swiss a while back.
