At any rate, it's a fantastic looking bike.

I was wondering how it was possibly custom? He's running a slammed -17 110 so I can't imagine it needed a longer TT or shorter HT.

It's supposedly 130mm according to the article.

No way its a 130 just by looking at it. Those articles are frequently incorrect, which is obvious because sometimes the HT size doesn't match the frame size or a seat height changes drastically when they repeatedly profile a bike.

Also, plugging the measurements into my stack and reach calculator the bike is a normal size M with a -17 110, maybe 120mm stem.

Is his saddle pushed almost all the way forward on a straight post? Just curious....

Yeah KW, you're probably right, looks more like a 110.

i think it's just one of those new fangled flip flop posts like on the venge and stuff. where it goes between 72 and 75 degrees depending on which way you flip it. But probably that post is offset like 25mm.

I have a really difficult time believing that Merida or any of the other manufacturers for that matter are producing custom molds for these guys.

Custom paint or layup, sure. To do geometry it would be a pretty serious undertaking for a guy on a 2 yr contract....
