Never stated that Horner is not nor was not sponsored by Garneau. I was referring to the person on the bike photographed in the Twitter post on Horner's account. Also, it should be noted: dude shown in the photo is not as crazy thin as Horner, and Horner's shoes have a white upper. See picture of Horner with 17year old Swamis riders posted by jmilliron for reference.

Looks like the wireless rumours might be true. I can't see a cable there.

I can't really tell from the two photos. The twitter photos looks like the rider is wearing a cap under the helmet and shoe covers... so I can't speak about his hair or shoes. As for the build, I think it's impossible to compare a photo of a guy on a bike with one of the same guy off the bike. Look at the recent Cavendish photos for example.

Nice journal article on bike tourists visiting Tour of San Luis, with some impressive photos for bike tourists.

Another one for the "Cav is fat" crowd:

Really nice shot:

Anyone else see Taylor Phinney's tweets re San Luis?

"Team Buenos Aires Provincia: one rider punches Dehaes in sprint on St 3, and today their team car runs over Tyler Farrar in the convoy. #wtf"

"Tyler w/a lot of road rash and maybe some broken ribs. Add this to local GC riders getting pushes from motos/cars on climbs... #BS #SanLuis"

Not good.

If running over Tyler Farrar can be proven to be intentional, then the driver and anyone who directed the driver to run over Tyler Farrar should receive a lifetime ban from any affiliation with any UCI team and participation in any UCI event, and should be prosecuted for attempted first degree murder, or whatever the equivalent is in the jurisdiction in which the incident occurred.

Aside from the issues in Argentina, am I the only one that thinks Phinney is the new Farrar? You know, the US's new most over-rated underperformer!!
