is it just me, or does having slang words for poop and the skin between your ballsack and your anus in large letters on your downtube just not appealing?

Still not getting the link, after all, the bike is not called The Perineal.

There are other languages. (Than English.)

To get the thread back on track: Did you know people coming from the Belgian village Dadizele, like pro cyclist Jens Debusschere, are nicknamed Pompeschitters? Now, please decipher using the appropriate dictionary! ;-)

I was thinking the other day, why don't Pros have their numbers printed on jerseys for Grand Tours. They get new kit for the tours, they know their number, why not have them printed on as part of the jersey design?

I've been wondering about that for a while. They travel with heat presses already. It would be easy.

Maybe by pinning numbers means the team can quickly pull out a standard generic, team issue jersey in case of a crash / torn jersey instead of looking for a specific numbered one?
I would assume most the roster would wear more or less the same size, so possibly easier to pack 10 x XS, 10 x S and 10 x M in and just hand out which ever size is damaged in crash etc..?

Almost every rider has custom jerseys with their name tags on them.

Cycling is really old fashioned in a lot of matters. The pinning of paper numbers to the riders jersey is so out dated.

Why not do like in football where every team member plays with the same number printed on the jersey through the season.

Every team could just use numbers from 1 to ??.

No need to have unique numbers for every rider in a race. The team jersey are different. Just like in football.
