I went on to the Pro Team Stuff thread to look at some pics and....
Why not discuss the non-tech stuff in this tread?
Who do you guys got for MSR on Saturday?
My podium picks:
1) Benatti
2) Boonen
3) Hushovd
I like Gasparotto, but Liquigas is going to be like a pack of dogs on a three-legged cat coming into San Remo.

I think all the non-sprinters teams will make the race tough, so my tip is Pozzato

Pozatto. Gilbert will try and attack and fail.
Pozatto will counter, Cancellara, Boonen and maybe Flecha will follow. Pozatto will last the distance.

Cancellara. He's been keeping it quiet so far this season, but apparently the indication from Tirreno was that he's in good form, so he's maybe been "doing a Cav".

How about this then; you think old Sparticus has been bluffing? I reckon Cavendish is playing the ultimate double bluff. I read some stuff in Cycling Weekly saying that Cav had had 2 weeks of the bike due to his dental problems; previously that had been 'suggested' as ALOT longer.
He has looked pretty close on a couple of occassions to winning stages of races this year, which aside from bad timing (starting the sprint) and poor placing and then crashes hampering him, he would surely have won, or been close anyway....so where has that form gone in the last 3-4 weeks? We've not seen it, it doesn't just diassapear does it? I reckon he's sitting on it, and building on it and providing he isn't too beaten up from him crash at Tirreno, my money (foolishly?) is on him.
So my podium:-
1:- Cav
2:- Friere
3:- Boasson Hagen

Allan Davis in a sprint finish.
Heard it here first
if he can haul his chubby backside over the climbs

I thought he'd been replaced in the start list by Vino, at least according to the start list I've seen.

Really?
In that case, I'll take Vino.

Wouldn't rule out Cav as well. If he makes the flamme rouge he might still be the guy who turns the cranks fastest.
If they drop him on the way, I'd say Boonen, Bennati, Petacchi with Bernie Eisel being the dark horse (being a bit optimistic here
).
Anyway, looking very much forward to that one!
