...what doesn't support that theory is how much angle is still in Cav's knee at the bottom of his stroke. I think it's just a simple as Cav's pedal stroke being similar to a Cat 5... look at some promo videos from OPQS over the winter. I thought he was going to take everyone out!

Go Phinney!!!

*I'm actually a big, big fan of Cav. But his style is still goofy.

Granted it could be he just wanted to ride that way but its something to consider

tony flipped his venge seatpost reverse , cav didn't seem to make any modifications to his road bike.

I think this may be the key.....his fit is set so that he can perform optimally in a sprint. They couldn't give two sh*ts if he is 5 places higher in the TT if they changed his position. Seconds don't really factor for him over the whole of a tour, his goal is to win sprint stages.

Utter garbage!

He's got his forearm resting on the tops of the bars. If you look at the saddle position on his bike compared to Martin's you can clearly see that Cavendish is on his stock setup, whereas Martin has the clamp in the forward position. Difference between the two is Martin is looking to do a ride and Cavendish just wants to get it over.

Does anybody has any idea why the Dubai sprint is not shown from the heli view?
The heli view was shown live until about 400m to go, and right after the finish line. But absolutely zero playback of the best view.
I'm pretty there was nothing to block the heli view and it was not a complex shot to mess up.

Also, it's not the first time I noticed this, but can't recall which race it was.

Those POC aero road helmets really makes me think of mushrooms. Those all white Giro Air Attacks Katusha was wearing for much of 2013 did the same. Paint job IS important.

This is a perfect illustration of the evade looking like a helmet, and other aero helmets looking like salad bowls.

What kind of hair style is that. This makes Kittel appear almost normal.

supposed to be some sort of "high style" but just looks comical.

That point aside, the POC aero helmets do actually make the Evade look pretty "normal" in that of the 3 helmets in that picture (POC Aero, Evade and Prevail) I would argue the Evade looks the most conservative and least outlandish

Don't understand why some people dislike the Evade, I love the way it looks - that's why I bought one! I especially like Cav's shiney black version!

It may well be ugly, but the salad bowl is close to 100 grams lighter. Okay, maybe 75.
