Going to an 1.25 lower bearing has more to do with the fork than the frame...

While it improves the front end stiffness of the frame some, most of the increase will come from the oversized carbon fork.

Wasn't their no benefit found in going to 1 1/8 - 1 1/2 but they have gone to 1 1/4 for some reason. I'm sure someone on here explained Cannondales reasoning.

First, I am a big fan of the Caad. I cannot wait to see the 10.

With regard to this economic talk. I would agree if it were not for governmental influence. It will never be balanced while a Communist government is in control of the currency and the production of a player country. We in the US do not have the fortune of cheap fish oil lubricating our products, cheap subsidized packaging, or labor willing to live in barracks. This is a condition that overrides all of the economic theory. Soon, the big pipe of money flowing from the US to China will destabilize the whole world. After this is done, China will be the sole superpower. They have waged an economic war on the world. Unfortunately, as before, the giants are sleeping.

Perhaps our "absolute" advantage in capital use and creation is the fumes of our prior advantage in natural resources and a competitive manufacturing base. There is nothing fixed about relative advantages - they reflect a brief moment in economic history. It's pretty easy to imagine China having an advantage in capital creation within our lifetime if they choose to create appropriate legal structures. In the long run, comparative advantages even out in many ways - meanwhile, generations of workers would be better off if societal potential output was not maximized.

This guy works for Cannondale, so there is a good chance this is the CAAD10 in the flesh.

Pretty sure it is. It does say "10" on the chainstays I think.

And no longer "handmade in the usa" which is sad

Can't tell for sure, but that's a pretty beefy looking HT/DT junction (indicative of oversize fork crown?)

Looks like it, check the downtube as it flares to connect the headtube...

Looks like the same "10" on the fork as is on the chainstay.

Looks like internal cable routing. And also the stem appears to be 1 1/8.

Is it just me or does that fork look stretched out?

Mike Cotty (@Cottydale) just tweeted:
Imagine a 1000g CX frame, lighter, stiffer, stronger & of course faster. Winter, bring it on. Imagine no more.

Carbon CX frame?
