Lobster Glove Liners

I bought some SWIX (cross country skiing) lobster gloves (thumb + 2 fingers + 2 fingers) for cycling use. Are there any thumb + 2 fingers + 2 fingers liners available to use in them? I am thinking that using individual finger liners would give up some of the lobster benefit of having touching fingers. Or would individual finger liners work as well in the lobster gloves?

I have a pair of lobster gloves that I wish were a little warmer. I wear thin 5 finger liners in them and they really make a big difference. One advantage of the 5 finger liners is you can take the lobster gloves off if you need to do something where more dexterity is needed, like opening an energy bar or adjusting clothing and the liners will not totally expose the hands to the elements.

+1 on the 5-finger liners. I ride this way all winter long, and it works great for me. I have some Pearl Izumi lobster mitts, similar to the thickness of Swix's, and those plus liners keep my fingers arm down to 15 degrees or so. Below that and I'm not riding, I'm skiing!

Thanks for the responses.

The question is would lobster liners work better in lobster gloves than 5 finger liners? I already have 5 finger liners. Given that I'm wearing lobster gloves, there should be no further dexterity loss from lobster liners.

No further dexterity but it is nice to be able to take off the Lobsters and still have 5 finger gloves on to fiddle with something.

I would guess the lobster liners would keep your fingers warmer than the 5 finger lines for the same reason lobster gloves work better than five finger gloves with the same loss of dexterity. That said unless you are riding in extremely cold conditions the 5 finger liners should be enough.

I have other gloves/configurations (including without liner) for "warm" conditions. I'm looking to get these as warm as possible to extend my comfort zone to as low a temperature as possible, since fingers are the factor which limit how cold I can go (toes are next, but Assos booties with 2 layers of Assos toe warmers around the booties can get me to a much lower temperature than my fingers can handle).

Hence, the origiinal question on the availability of (thumb + 2 finger+ 2 finger) lobster liners to use in lobster gloves.

BTW geraldatwork, I remember your posting of riding in ungodly (to me) snow/slush/ice road conditions for a road bike (especaiily for riding on roads with motor vehicles). I'm just trying to stick to cold but no precipitation (in air or on road) conditions.
