Was going to get new shoes in january but since these are limited and the stocks are running out i just couldn't risk waiting.
The fit is very good compared to a S-works road shoes these are more secure and much less heel slip.
Are you comparing them to the newest generation of S-works road shoes *the one's with 2 boa's and a lower strap*? If so, how did you find the sizing between the two? Was it roughly equal in that if you wear a 42 in one you would suggest a 42 in the other as a starting point?

I'll chime in.
Another pair of the old Fizik R1 shoes. Made from Kangaroo Nutsack leather. The best i have ever had.

Probably because they are a great shoe, but the price was just a tad to high for a shoe that was a tad to bland?

@ Frankie - B How is the fit on those compared to Shimano/Giro(assuming that you have used either of them!)? Have a pair of Giro Trans that have never quite agreed with me, and at that price those look really good...

Having used Shimano R300's before these I'd say that these run a tad wider in the toe box. the inner sole is way better then the offering from shimano. Even when you don't flashfit it. The leather stays looking good and they say that it makes the shoe fir better to your feet.. (you need to polish that every once in a while)

I had a pair of the R1's. Loved the quality and materials used. The fit wasn't good for me, the arches seem very high and I was getting pain on longer rides.
