Definite room to reduce the weight. Ti fixings and dremel to the trumpet. Though all the extra holes may impact the tone...

The trumpet is metal so a carbon one would cut the weight quite a bit, is a nice enough honk to politely inform folk I'm there and for £7 I can't complain.
Have a 140db Hornit for informing drivers I'm displeased with their recent actions.

I am lusting after a pair of these Giro Trans as well. What were your previous shoes and how do they compare in fit?

Previous shoes were Nike Poggio, also EUR44.
The Giro Trans should have the same fit, however, I didn't take them out for a ride yet.
The cleats are not yet attached and it was raining here the whole weekend.

Do those only take the slotted toe clip cleats (there in yellow)? Do you know the year of manufacture?
