I can never get over the jacked-up-headtube-for-more-stack-height look. Just move the damn top tube up or shorten the headtube, standover height is overrated, and so are slammed stems on commuters. If you're riding with your bars way up there, not having spacers under your stem isn't your number one priority...

/rant

I'm sure it'll ride nice though... :)

At least it's not some $5,000 Parlee with a goofy extended HT.

I agree, I would have preferred it as well if the top tube was sloped up a bit more instead of a "head tube with extra height", as Soma calls it. They probably stole the idea from Pegoretti. :)

Anyways, I am hoping it at least rides well.

Picked up a PRO Vibe 7s stem to replace my Thomson x2. Should be arriving soon. Definitely stepped down in the looks/cool factor department but gained in the clamp design. I didn't want to sacrifice the -10 degree of the X2 so the PRO looked like the best choice. Will post pictures soon.

Putting in an order for two 25mm Conti GP4000s and some Zipp handlebars today as well. Can't wait to ride on the bigger tires!

Looks very like my lille old dahling, slight difference in the top tube, almost identical stack height, same colour except mine has red splotches. You should wish for nowt else.

Ordered some Smith Pivlock V2's yesterday. The thread here really helped the decision.

Wore these today, I love them. They don't stretch much so when you pull them on the heel section actually stays on your heel. Perfect thickness for fall riding too. They are so nice!
