Jens was raised by wolves. When he reached the age of 16 he ate the wolves and became a professional cyclist.

Jens can sing an opera, while his heart rate is over 190 ...
Once he told a joke while sprinting for 47 km`s ....

Jens is pregnant.

Anyone hear his post-race interview after the last stage? He was asked how to beat Astana, and he suggested whispering rumours between all the Astana team and turn them against each other

Ironically, it would not be the worst tactic (if a little unsportsmanlike) in the world

He's hilarious, is fan friendly, has great energy and is a fantastic rider. It'll be a sad day when he chooses to retire, but in the meantime he is definitely one of the best among the pro tour. Probably one of the only riders to be in a GC Leader's jersey and still take the time to say hi to fans, sign autographs and hold newborn babies while smiling for pictures. Great, great guy.

I've met and known quite a few pros who are in the ProTour, and for the most part they all agree that there are a few people that they really like riding with in the peloton: Dave Zabriskie and Jens Voigt.

Jens and Erik Zabel (also German, also one of the greatest) are in another class altogether: the riders with true klass, ability, style and personality. Bravo!

Dave Zabriskie? Really? I did not know this. I love his Captain America TT wheel though!

Jens even came out to Oz the year before last for the Tour Down Under. BEFORE the Lance show rolled in and it cycling was again cool.

Jen for president or prime minister. :no1:
