Trust me, Lance hasn't worn an off the shelf pair of shoes for a long time...that's one of the many beauties of being an elite professional...

Indeed. If you think back to the set of Nike's that he wore in 1998, they were a custom set based off the Cairns mtn bike shoe. Even his Sidi's that he wore in the Motorola days were custom.

I read somewhere, don't remember the source, that there's no insole in this shoes, his feet sit directly on shaped carbonfiber sole.
LA showed a calk of his feet some weeks ago in his twitter.
