Can anyone explain why Valverde has been on a Yellow bike since the begining of stage 1? Confused & maybe uneducated... :P

He is the National Champion of Spain and the colors represented in his kit and on his bike denote that Championship status. At least I hope this was a serious question???

It was, I just wouldn't be rollin' in on the 1st Day of the TDF on a Yellow bike unless I was the Previous year's champ or it was the team colors. Just seems like bad luck, especially if your touted as one of the favorites
