Yeah Mosman to the city is ok, only Military Road can get a bit slow and stuck at times, so chances are you will move quciker than the traffic. Nice views for your ride anyway, crossing the harbour.
There is ok riding in each direction as well. North, South and out West.
Lots of training bunches and racing all year round. Most of the road races are more or less during winter or the in between seasons and lots of crit and track racing during summer also.
The ride mentioned by Danton (I think) up the Pacific Hwy Galston, Berowra etc is a good one.
And we do have many real good and pro riders that are here most of year/summer or often back and forth os, so the training bunches are usually fun.
No salted roads here. It has been raining a fair bit in the last 3-4 months.
But we are usually on some sort of short water supply rules, due to the lack of water in our dams. In other words it is pretty dry.
