Hello.

My work are looking to send me to Charleston for a week or two. Are there any members in the area that can recommend any good bike shops?

I'd also lke to try and rent or borrow a bike from someone or a shop as well while I'm there to go exploring a bit.

I appreciate any help anyone local to the area can give me. :thanx:

After looking online a lot, I found this place that hires road bikes.

http://www.charlestonbicyclecompany.com/

Has anyone had any experience with them or know if they are reliable?

I've never done any riding in Charleston but been there many times. Beautiful city. Get out and see what you can. I have done alot of riding in Savannah(just south) and the drivers there are not very bike friendly(very small bike community so drivers are not exposed to riders) and the rodes are narrow so be careful. Hopefuly Charleston is better.
The riding will be flat, hot and (maybe)windy and the climbs will be the bridges. Have fun!
