My sister-in-law is getting married in September in Bali. I won't be able to bring a bike, but was wondering if anyone had an idea of riding possibilities? I would be open to either mountain or road, but road is typically easier in an unfamiliar area. Plus, I can see more terrain! It looks like a very volcanic island and I am sure has lots of nice terrain.
Any recommendations for road bike rentals? We will only be there for 5 days, so I probably won't be able to get in more than a couple of rides, although I wouldn't mind riding every day. It is right before cross season and I don't want to lose fitness.

I've become quite good at searching for online bike hire stores...
Never been to Bali before, but I'd email these people:
http://www.balibike.com (this one looks the most authentic)
http://www.balibikebike.com/ (looks like a pro operation... probably run by Aussies at a guess)
http://www.tourvelo.org/ubud.html (a bit of info about cycling in Bali)
http://www.balimountainbike.com (online shop)
(yes I'm bored out of my mind today )
