Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

0C as I write this, moderate wind, wet but blue skies:

Spotty rain, but currently none between Modesto and San Jose:

It could be worse, but it's bad enough....

It was a gorgeous, slightly cool day on the lower-mid slopes of Sierra Road, where I stopped to watch the riders. However, the temperature at the Hamilton summit, shrouded in mist, was 2C (35F). They seem to have someone survived.

Were they wearing full fingered gloves? I did that descent once wearing summer gloves when it was about 0 to -1 C at the top (although significantly warmer down the mountain a ways). I didn't get the feeling back in my fingers until the top of the first climb on the descent and didn't get warm until near the top of the second climb on the descent. But then I let it rip down the final descent and wasn't cold at all.

[edit: by Frankie, No need to quote here.]

I saw from cyclingnews some riders were wearing long-fingered gloves at the start. I didn't see any, however, by Sierra Road, although I may have missed them. Those guys are tough.
