Sorry guys, forgot to put the location: Pau, France. the second photo is looking towards the (snow-free) Pyrenees.
Skiing is supposed to start this weekend but the temperature hasn't really been below 12C yet. Next week 80cm of snow and freezing temperatures are forecast so it might be the end of the season...

Agree but with Norway. 8° and raining, every day if it's good. If it's bad then it's colder

40 mile route, somewhat protracted by the fact that every other turn was greeted by this ! These were slimy miles under the belt today but better than being on the turbo, this is the Sandford to Puxton road near Bristol. Rivers are running along roads around the mendips today, floods gonna get worse this weekend.
