Surprisingly unsuitable for a race bike at 700m today. I got down again without crashing.

Do they throw salt on the ground in Norway when it snows?

They do on the main roads, but not on my for riding preferred side roads. That photo is taken at one of the local XC skiing trail heads, btw.

We have had some spring thunderstorms over the past 3 weeks, but the weekend weather was back to normal.
Pic taken on a hill called Klapperkop (Johann Rissik drive) in Pretoria. I did not have a lot of time to pose the bike to get the pic.

I now have an inny rather than an outty looking at how cold it looks in your pic man!

Spotted at a local charity ride on the weekend by a friend. A local hasn't taken kindly to cyclists over the years and objected to the ride on the weekend. They threw tacks on the road too causing about 50 people to puncture. Idiot. This made the national news here as well.
