It is nice, unfortunately the esplanade is blocked atm from a landslide...

How long is the route? Road bike?
I've been to Lake Garda once - it's a beautiful place.

We started from an inside town, but I guess the whole route is around 150-155kms roughly.
The nice thing is that you find cyclists all the way around.

This is an art installation which has been in a National Trust park since April. Apparantly it's there to make people think :noidea: All it makes me think is that it's an eyesore.

On Monday, two of the hardest slopes to be found in Switzerland : Balmberg and Weissenstein.

For those of you who have ridden in Switzerland, those cols are IMO harder than Grosse Scheidegg or Pragel. But they are not well known, what a shame.

I had to use my MTB with slick tires to go up there (32x26), my gf had to walk even though she had a compact gearing.

Problably last ride with short sleeves. Good bye fall.

didn't know them either, most likely because these two aren't part of the Alps and in a region generally described as flat

check out the profile, i believe that is what is meant by seeing red:

Basilic, your photos make me sad I don't live in the Geneva area any more. I had a few years there in the early 90s and it is an amazingly good area for cycling. Now I live in Reading. Here's a view familiar to many W London cyclists, the M40 cutting at Stokenchurch. Not quite as scenic as the Northern Alps.
