I know all about the dork disc unfortunately
I posted it in the 'what have you bought' thread, I have just moved to Belgium and am still waiting on my tools to come etc. so can't get the lockring off to get rid of it! I don't even have my bottle cages yet...

It's only plastic. Can cut through it with a decent pair of scissors.
I've tried the scissors, but the cassette doesn't allow them to go down far enough to get to the hub, it's also quite flexible so I can't snap it...
Anyway, enough of the dork disc ( ) let's see more pictures!

Unbelievable photos. But do any of you guys WORK? I get to bed at 1am at the moment after finishing work at midnight.
Then my Son wakes us up at 6am, school run, work, 45minutes a day is about all I can manage.
sigh.

Sooooo.. I had the intention to do a 185 km ride today, climbing both the Pragelpass as well as the the Iberegg pass.
Riding along the Klöntalersee and enjoying the warm sun was the complete opposite of what happened as soon as I started the descent of the Pragelpass.
Just after the summit:
5 km Further down the road, while a huge hail/rain/thunder/wind storm was taking place..
The temperature dropped about 20 degrees celcius and the road looked like what you can see in the picture above nearly everywhere.
It was almost impossible to brake, but I had to keep descending to search for a warm house or a restaurant. Standing still would only have lead to hypothermia (I was already losing control of my hands and reasoning clearly was hard as well. ). I somehow made it to Muotathal, where some people took good care of me, giving me hot soup and chocolate, as well as dry and warm clothes.
