It is a bicycle team/club in Stockholm, Valhall, that has J.Lindeberg as sponsor.

Airwise, are you making a calendar? Seriously, that's impressive.

On my end, the road today was not so friendly. Lots of headwind, lots of A-Fib...
I found this on the side of a bridge teetering over the ocean....
So when I got home (battery was dead) I powered it up and sent this lovely message to the owner:

But then the cops showed up when I was trying to watch the Tour.
Geez, you try to be a nice guy...

I think the 'old' George Bush is in town for the 4th since the Texas flag is flying.

Lesson learned. Next time all phones get thrown in the ocean. Thanks for conditioning a good Samaritan.

This time every year mannequins like these turn up by a little hamlet, I guess just for a bit of fun.

I use Mt Donna Buang repeats to prepare for overseas trips – roughly 90km East of Melbourne as it is the longest local climb at 16.8km and 6.4% average gradient. Downside is it is the closest snow play area to Melbourne. Although the snow is inconsistent, the road ascends the shaded Southern side of the mountain adding to the chill….

Luckily the ski season is off to a poor start and there was no snow yesterday.

Some patches of sun on the lower slopes

Image

Summit 4 degrees celcius and a bitterly cold wind – top of the third repeat late in the day

Image

Ride total 103km – 50.4km climbing 3240m vertical

Was there last week; black ice everywhere after about 12k in. Crashed going uphill, bike just slid out from underneath me! Ended up doing some repeats to the halfway point, good to hear the road was better this weekend.
