Anybody have any idea when Vino's training centre will be up and running?

Really, is this a joke?

If it is not a joke, how deep in denial about public opinion does Vino live right now?

IF it goes ahead, it's going to take a while. He's bought a place and now is talking to the local authorities about the plans and the development. So it's a project that's only on paper now. He said he wants it ready for 2012, so teams coming for the Olympics in London can prepare.

Frankly, with an image in France as bad as his, he's got a very big challenge ahead. But Kazakhstan is not short of money and he seems to have important friends.

Oh brother. How long are some of you guys going to keep riding this tired horse?

Let the guy get on with his damn life. I was a fan of his before he got caught and I really don't give a damn if he is one of a whole lot who dope.

He was fun to watch and I wish him all the best.

He still has some important and influential friends in his country who would be willing to bankroll his venture. Much success to you, Vino-thanks for the memories and good luck!!!!!

Great...

I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough.

I would certainly want to place her immediately in the care of such a stand up person!

Maybe Keshechkin will stop in as well and give pep talks and legal advice...

But I also fear it will be a busy year for those guys. Isn't 2012 also the same year they will again be eligable to ride on a protour team?

Good point Pez, but Vino would be 38 in 2012.... a little old to come back and win the Tour.
