How about Sam Hill creaming everybody in Fort Bill at the worlds, despite crap weather conditions?
Tough to pick between Cadel and Stuey, IMO.
If it were me I'd go for Mick Rogers..... but that's just me!

Sydney Morning Herald/The Age Australian Sports performer of the year award...
Goes to Cadel Evans!
Then... World's number 1 cyclist donates $50,000 prize money to charity.
GO CADEL!

With, unfortunatly, more news coverage going to the junior prize winner than the senior, and not a mention of the charity donation. Grrrgh.

No mention of the charity donation? The article states that it went to the Amy Gillet foundation and the Ian Thorpe foundation... that gives great coverage to the Amy Gillet Foundation in particular.

Not on the tv news at least - SHM did mention it, but I didn't see it in any papers...though I wasn't exactly reading them too thoroughly recently
