If you can complete Styrrkoproven in 18 hours "cruising" you are a very fit man

Such a lot depends on weather (especially on the mid Mountain phase to Lillehamer), working with a decent group and feeding strategy.

I rode with a team of 14 from Norway - only 8 finished as last year as the weather was particularly gruesome.

Use tried and tested equipment and Aluminium rimmed wheels - the roads, if they are wet, will trash Carbon rims over that distance and time.

Yeah, I know it won't be exactly cruising, but not riding very hard, if you know what I mean. Dovre is going to be hard.

The fastest teams use Aero helmets, skinsuits and deep carbon wheels when they're riding. I guess it would save a lot of time!
