Hey guys, as some of you know I dabble in a bit of wheel building as a hobby and have been asked by a few mates if I might be intrested in building a few wheelsets for them.
We were thinking 6 or 7 pairs of mid height carbon tubulars, using a far east made rim that we could buy direct, has any of you good people out there got any ideas or contacts I could approach about doing a bulk buy?
Say 15 or 20 rims
Any comments or ideas will be gladly received, thanks in advance.
Rob :D

Maybe we could consider a group buy if we can get enough together. :)

I have scoured the net to try to find a supplier for the m5's but no luck, have you got any idea where dalai?
Good suggestion though, and I have been in contact with kuiper too, and it looks pretty good, but i'll shop around a little more before ordering. :D

No sorry. Just recall your questions about the M5 rim on fwb and whether these were still an option...

There's a group buy going on through bikeforums.net right now. The dude from BikesDirect.com is putting together a big deal, similar to the PedalForce group buys, but with 5+ frames.

He's also giving a MASSIVE discount on what I'm assuming are gigantex rims laced to cheap hubs. $500 USD shipped was the last price I saw, and it might have gone down since then. 50mm is a lock and he might be offering 38 and 85mm rims as well.

Even if you want to scrap the hubs/spokes, that's a pretty good deal on a pair of rims.
