Buy it... hide it... when she finally notices it after several weeks, you can say, "That old thing? I've had it a while now."

(1) get a separate credit card or bank account, have the new bike delivered to your office, swap out the old bike before you take it home; or

(2) offer to give up your girlfriend if she okays the expense.

You all got it wrong!!!

Marry a cyclist and she wouldn't be happier if all the money went to bikes, cycling vacations, watching cycling on TV, etc. etc.

Money for food? Cut that in half! It just slows me down in the hills anyway!
