All black jerseys? They wouldn't need to change when they go training.

I was thinking of it either!

Seriously, I don't think Trek is gonna risk their image with Astana...or not?

Pretty sure Trek has multi-year exclusive deal with Disco.
For certain parts stiffer is more important than lighter.

Huh..Disco is dead, dissolved as a company now.

TREK has stated weeks ago they are out for 2008.

Trek has already ruled out sponsoring Astana.

Re the groupset I would suggest Shimano.

Maybe Slipstream makes sense as it is an American team with mostly (I guess) American riders. Since Trek is headquartered in the USA and they are used to working closely with a local team it might be a good fit. Also Slipstream is making an emphasis on riding clean and taking doing extra testing so there is less risk involved in that respect.
"Really fast people are frustrating, but they make you faster. When you get faster, you might frustrate someone else."

2009 Trek Madone 5.5 Project One SRAM Force 16.4 lbs w/pedals and cages.
2007 Bianchi 928 Carbon Lugged- SRAM Rival-17 lbs.

Not sure how 'local' discovery are to trek - their base was in belgium, not far from the original waterloo though!

Slipstream ride Felt bikes, I think Treks reputation took a hammering along with Bruyneels this season so going with Astana won't be a surprise given the 'win at all costs' way of thinking.
