Quite a surprise for me when I got back from Italy to find free brakes in the mail. I was expecting, if I can even call it that, maybe a t-shirt and coffee mug or something like that. A really stunning display of generosity to a group of people who have done nothing more than shoot off their mouths on a forum. Not sure how it rates as a business strategy but it rates very high with me. Grazie mille to Ted and ZG!

Nice to see that there are good companies and quality people around. That was a fantastic gesture on Teds part. Makes me want to buy a set. Congradulations to all involved!

perhaps the wrong thread to be asking this but... what do you guys think of the swissstop yellow pads on alu rims? I was using them on my carbon rims and they were great, but mid race I busted my full carbon rims and had to take neutral wheels (zipp clinchers) and found these pads did a whole lot of sliding and not a lot of stopping...

well honestly I haven't put enough wear on mine to truly give a review of them. I've ridden a few times but haven't had any issues stopping.

Yeah, I thought they were a little grippy out of the box but it seemed to fade after a while or I just got used to the feel.

Aren't the yellow Swissstops for carbon rims?

the yellows will work perfectly fine on alloy rims... I used them on carbon and alloy... no probs at all. first ride they did squeak a bit, but no probs after that.

What are the best ZG compatible brake pads to use on Mavic Ceramic rims?

Campa Record? Green Koolstop?

any campy like pad that you can buy for your rims
'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'
