I'm from Chicago, and might be able to help. Where will you be staying? In the city itself, in the suburbs, North Shore, Gold Coast, downtown, south side...?

However, I have to warn you...it's a BIG city and it's very, very easy to get lost and wander through some less than friendly neighborhoods.

I picked up my Moots at Turin in Evanston. Decent selection of products.

Funny you should mention Turin...I've picked up team clothing orders from them the past two years... Not sure where I'll be living next year, but hopefully I can keep on racing for them, in a support role in the P/1/2 races. Great guys, great organization, great shop. They carry Bianchi, Cervelo, IF, Moots, Trek, Specialized for the road, and Felt's track bikes. Don't remember what they carry for MTB, though.

There are a lot of great shops in Chicago, but where you're at in the city will make a big difference in what is a realistic option. It could very easily take 2 hours to get from one side of the city to the other during rush hour.
