OK brainiacs...

What do you call a triangle with ronded corners (other than a triangle with rounded corners...)

The top tube of a bike has this shape and I want to sound smarter than I am.

Is it a polytrigle, a tricircle...?

Well...if you said the tube was triangular with rounded corners that actually doesn't sound so dumb. A "round" is a sort of technical term if you're talking about mechanical drawing...as in "Fillet", "Chamfer", "Round" etc. Know what I mean?

He wants a shape, not 4-5 words that describe it.

My entry: "Tricircle" to be read the same as "tricycle". Its a clever play on words you see.

I do see... That's why I used it.

LMAO,

Now I realy want to use the term troval just to have the manufacturer asking me what the fark I'm talking about... The problem is it might find it's way into a catologue

tri-bullnosed could fly too, but thanks to santacruz... "The top tube of the Kuota KOM is an inverted reuleaux triangle"
