Funny I was discussing this very event with Henk Vogels Snr last week when I was fortunate enough to get a ride with him (many thanks again to Weenie Ozrider for inviting me along with his bunch in Adelaide bJay too for that matter ) and he felt, at the time, that it was actually quite disrespectful.
I said I felt otherwise but said I respect the fact that he's been around the cycling fraternity more years than I've had hot dinners and that it was an interesting point of view to have.
