Absolutely great. I love that the forest looks like the inside of a cylinder.

Team time trial through the vineyards of Bordeaux on Sunday morning. Did better than expected but still lost the yellow jersey. Managed to hang onto the polka dot till the end of the tour though - First TTT together and approaching the end so that's why it is looking a bit scrappy
Sunday afternoon and a 100km road stage. bit flat and the guy in the yellow jersey didn't give anyone an inch.
Finale régionale – Rive-Sud in Ste-Julie
Here's one I shot this past Tuesday.. It was a MTB race in the middle of a hydro electrical station !
I was attacked by mosquitos and there was poison ivy up to your armpits.. But, the light was pretty good..
The rest of the series is here: http://www.shampoo.ca/finale-regionale- ... ste-julie/

Someone needs to sell him some regular water bottles and a razor. Is that white cable running along the downtube for his DA-Di2 or for the SRM?

Shhhhhh!
(it's probably someone off here)...
Personally i think the valve caps is the biggest problem he has going on....
Alex- Its the Di2 frame tape. Think white's a Shimano option

Thanks Jekyll!
It could be anyone, that's why I didn't want to offend the person on their equipment. Some people really like to get the best equipment no matter what their level of abilities/experience are in racing... I guess if you could afford to replace it, then sure, go for it.
I just don't get why, with all that effort to look pro, the water bottle is a re-used Gatorade bottle and the legs, obviously.

Photo screams Los Angeles to me.
To be fair though, his Gatorade bottle is probably lighter then a proper bidon.

He didn't even make it through the neutral roll-out and his speed sensor was rubbing his rear wheel (don't they normally go on the front?)
I told him what was making the racket and he reached back to correct it. The peloton starts making jabs about the guy as he drifted off the back then next thing you know, MAYBE 3 miles into the race he goes off the front and holds ~15-20 seconds until the last 3 miles. He was rocking like Jens in the final 3k of a 240k race and his left knee swung out like he was trying to fan himself down, but one hell of an effort!
The photo was taken in Rainier, Oregon.

You're assuming the reason he's bought what he's bought is to look pro. He may just want the best performing bike he can get, and I don't think anyone who posts here is in a position to give him a hard time for that. The only thing you could say for sure he's bought for the look are the bibs and helmet.
The bottle's definitely wierd, but leg shaving does nothing except gain you acceptance from people who think you should shave your legs to be accepted into the clan of roadie.

I didn't create the culture of it, but after I gave in and started shaving mine (when I started racing) it helped stop putting people offside before they met me. Ala this thread.
First impressions last.
It also means getting a massage is a lot easier. As is applying and removing tape and dressings. There are practical applications.
As for his bottle, could it be that it was all he was handed at the feed zone - give he was apparently off the front, solo, for a 240km race? Makes sense to me.
My biggest concern are the socks and the Rock Racing knicks...
