Second place rider was 4th in National champs CLM, third place rider rides for Continental team and has lots of palmares, 4th and 5th place is ex junior team member and ex track specialist, both excellent sprinteurs, 6th place last year was riding for Continental team La Pomme Marseille and also has lots of palmares. Strong competitors, most important win so far.

I have never been in a team, never raced abroad, never raced in UCI race, returned to cycling 2 years ago and doesn't have any big podiums so far. On top of that, I was feeling sick this morning before the race.

Great action shots shoopdawoop! That shot of you on the BMC is the best, but I can see why you're getting rid of that now since that position doesn't look all that great.

Damn, how I wish there was a road cycling team during my undergrad. Universities up here aren't into cycling unfortunately, even my current school doesn't have one.

The tt was my worst ever, I was beaten by a minute by other racers I have beaten by a minute on the local 10 mile course. It was really windy that day and it really threw me off I guess

It was ok though, I won the next two days.

oh and the overall.

Also that gif is awesome, that is some serious pre-race concentration to not even be able to follow the ramp!
