if not from a power meter then where is that number coming from....

Well, hello there, it's virtual trainer race! It shows your power and everything else, but you cant use a trainer as a powermeter on road, can you?

Does that Tacx have actual strain gauges in it or is it deriving power from speed?

Ahh, ta.

I didn't mean 'who' in the identification sense, more who he was in the grand scheme of racing.

And nice second place mate!

Ah thanks! But that isn't me who took the video.. ;-)

That's Jean-Philippe Roberge Thibault.. Another talented MTB dude.

I was there shooting photos.. I'm just a lonely roadie/trackie.. Dirt and mud scare me. ;-)

You keep winning pedaling thru corners like that and you will be getting bumped up in no time (or being called sandbagger :) Nice form and congrats.

BTW - that takes balls riding a 4s crit sans gloves :)

Inside pedal down through a corner makes me concerned

Clipped a pedal once and that was enough of a scare for me!

Regardless, congrats on the win!
Looks like I made a new 90 Proof friend
