I definitely need Marianne Vos as a riding partner.
Nice Tomstr!

National Hill Climb. A horrible thing to do to yourself...
7th but more importantly, i think i had the lightest bike 4.5kg fixed
Early days - still all under control...
Towards the end - All over the place.
Good crowd though:
First photo from Paul Tuohy
Last two from Russell Ellis who has a gallery of suffering at https://www.flickr.com/photos/russellel ... 564168279/

It lives in the UK while i'm in Dubai at the moment so no more pictures of the bike itself but here's a build list:
Planet X Nanolight frame(M) + fork
FRM ST-M10 Ti seatpost, cut down just a bit too much to be able to use normally...
Selle Italia SLR Ti saddle with all the padding taken off
KCNC Ti Pro 26.0mm stem
Zipp Contour Carbon 26.0mm bars, getting a bit old now so cut 70g off the bar-ends and flipped them upside-down
Planet X CNC front brake
Tektro RL726 CX Brake Lever with half the lever cut off...
Front wheel: Planet X carbon 20mm rim on a Tune Mig70 front hub and 20 CX-rays, TUFO Elite <125g 19mm tub
Rear Wheel: Planet X carbon 20mm rim on a custom MACK hub and 20 CX-rays, 20t DA sprocket, TUFO Elite <135g 21mm tub
On the Catford Hill Climb i used an FMB Roubaix 25mm silk tub at 40psi for a bit more grip but the National course was resurfaced a week ago so the skinny Tufo got a run
ZIPP VumaQuad cranks, 39t chainring only
Keywin Ti pedals
KMC X10SL chain - I've been quite lucky in that the two gears i've wanted to use in hillclimbs this year (39x20, 34x17) have given good chain tension without any messing around. In the past i've also used 39x19 and 34x16 by using a half link and a chain with a few thousand kms on it.
Total weight was 4.54kg without really buying anything new and mostly just having a dig through the garage.
Thinking about going full on for next year though, tempted by a Cannondale Super6 Evo Nano frame, a Berk seatpost/saddle combo and maybe some new wheels - i've got a Mig45 hub tucked away somewhere so maybe some AX SRT24mm rims could be on their way... That would get it down towards sub-4kg fixed but would also be a sweet bike built up with SRAM Red

First race back after a few months off the bike with a stubborn broken wrist that just didn't want to heal. Happy with my performance, power is building really well and my position looks good.
Was a 2-up TT with a club mate, he was on a roady so I ended up doing 90% of the work. Me in front in the red spec helmet...

During my last trip to China got chance to ride again a local race but with no luck; a guy crashed in front of me at the last U turn with 1k to go.
Luckily no injury or whatever as we weren't going that fast.

A few shots from last nights Crit; didn't do particularly well as I put in too much work early... Live and learn!
