Needing some good allen wrenches and while I don't doubt Park Tool products are excellent (I own some), it seems there are likely some cheaper (but quality equivalent) alternatives when it comes to allen wrenches. Anyone have suggestions on brands they've been happy with? Thanks!

PB Swiss, Wera.

TBH, Park Tool are basically mid range Hex keys. And quite overpriced for what they are.

I prefer to spend the same or more than Park and get better, rather than spending less to get the the same, especially with the number of hex (and torx) fasteners on a bike!
Hence spending money on PB Swiss and Wera (only got keys though, don't really like T or P-wrenches.)

BAHCO "standard" allen's. Use it almost religiously. At work ( non cycling ) and for personal wrenching.

For T-shape allens/Torx I use Bondhus. Wera is also nice, I have mostly screwdrivers from them.
As above...Park is rather mid-low range.

BTW if you'll work with Ti components I'd recommend wrenches without Vanadium.

Most of my tools are Facom. I haven't checked if they are cheaper than Park tho. I paid about 20 euro's for this set:

I have the t-shaped ones as well. Also nice, but the ones in the picture are more portable.

I splurged on Beta T-handle wrenches w/ Allen and Torx ends and haven't looked back.

For general purpose stuff (read, not bike-related), I have SAE and metric sets of US-made Eklind key wrenches.

Dad: Yeah... well... now his body’s fine, but his mind is gone.

Don't buy cycling brand hex or torx tools. They're most often mdium quality and too expensive.
Facom are excellent, as are Beta, Wiha tools,...
I have this set from geman brand Kraftwerk, they're very good quality:

I really rate the Wera tools. I've had the park hex keys spin in a bolt but the Wera keys easily bite. Really rate them
