2018 PRO thread

Yeah, I think it boiled down to the fact that an internal US Postal Service marketting reported indicated a return of over $100M on the pretty small investment in the US Postal Service cycling team. So they got brand exposure that generated increased revenue. That makes the argument more difficult.
The same with T-Mobile/Festina/Phonak etc, brands that we as cyclists got exposed to despite the teams supporting doping.

Yeh.....hurray.....another QS victory.....
Am I the only one asking questions about this QS-season? So many wins with a medical staff with a very bad history and Lefevre as teammanager? Remember Mapai as one of his former teams and 30 years of doping-rumours.....

QS dominance aside, the LBL podium is heartening to see - Jungels, Woods, and Bardet
They aren't rumors. I'm pretty sure some riders like Johan Museeuw have admitted it.Daniel1975 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 4:46 pmRemember Mapai as one of his former teams and 30 years of doping-rumours.....

I may be wrong, but isn't the current Quick Step team just a continuation of the Mapei team with different sponsors? Could be one for all you conspiracy theorists
unless that's totally not true and I've had it all wrong please enlighten me

I think Quickstep is coming from Domo-FarmFrites the team began in 2001 with Lefevre Museeuw Knaven and co? Boonen joined the team in 2003 when it became Quickstep-Davitamon
Looking for staff with WT experience? All of them will have baggage. That is just a reflection of the proliferation of doping in the 90’s and 2000’s.
jungels and bardet! these guys are going to continue to do some some really great things in the near future
