It must be frustrating that he can't win every race!
Still, he's got the rainbow strips which are like a big target on his back. Getting a handful of wins even if he has ten 2nd places is still a great year for a pro rider. He's got nothing to complain about. If he snags a monument and the green jersey it will have been a fantastic year for him.

After all, we're a little short on sponsors these days. You may not like it, but that's where this is all headed. A new PR media campaign for Pro Cycling, courtesy of that front group commonly known as the UCI.
