Gust of wind + high profile wheelset
Why choose a 50mm wheelset with that kind of wind
Definitely a bad decision = not bad luck

I've said it many times I like GT as a bike rider a lot but he's never done anything on GC in a race longer than a week and is 31.... stuff happens for a reason. He look strong at TA though. Doubt he'd be able to take 30 sec out of kawasaki in 10k though.

I need to see a replay or a GIF of how Sagan avoided that crash of Gaviria, pure Sagan magic.
Just the crash? I'd like to watch a spotlight replay of him for the entire last 10k.
(As would lots of opposing teams!)
Yeah, your right. The way he somehow convinced Siutsou to close the gap for him and then ride from the back to front in 1 or 2 km to sprint to a second spot was amazing. He was hanging at the back for a while that I thought, nah he's done for and then Oss brought him back.
Edit: Found a small clip, everyone around him falls except Sagan:

Froome taking it easy in Tirreno. better off this way if his results will be cancelled.
even joking and chatting with Bettiol and Dennis, member of a Sky rival team racing for the win against Kwiato tomorrow. the peloton, lucliky, is not made of bad vs god boys, clear distinction between black and white. the grey areas of rivalries, friendships, training camaraderies are more real than we think or wish

2015 Gent Wevelgem, definitely one of the best races.
G has been having "bad luck" for quite a few years now.
2015 Gent: the great Luca Paolini- Zeghos, fluo shoecovers and leg warmers on the outside!

During last years TDF Lance had some good points on his podcast. Specially on minimizing risks during the tour. They always sought risk free options when it yelded zero gain on overall standings.
I reckon G has been one of the unluckiest, but at the same time it seems that SKY isn't exaclty so well managed on risk analysis. I mean when looking at mechanical problems, this must be the team that had most on their captain and other "higher" ranked riders.
Marginals gains with expense of malfunction and taking risks that can cost overall standings?
