Awesome. Interesting tidbit, but the wife and I wvisited there last year and noted lots of cyclists riding under the bridge as we were taking the tour up on top of the bridge.

Yes.. The western side is bicycles only. Eastern side for pedestrians.
Very busy route in and out of the city. Used to live just next to the northern end bridge. Always a good spot for bike watching during rush hours.
Ironically.. 25 years in this city I love and still haven't done the bridge climb.

So the "wife and kids away so lets do a 300kms round the island easter ride" became "woke up too late so lets just do a bit of mountains."
Im thinking of doing a ride to all the pilgrimage sites on the island tomorrow to pray for some kind of fitness before the 316 event end of April
